Kingdom Finances: A Conduit of Blessings

For thousands of years, God’s people have been burdened to build monuments for men. There is a shift in the seasons underway that will stop the merchandising of God’s people. In the new season financial freedom is being released and the needs of believers are being met.

All gold and silver belong to God. He is releasing finances into the hands of those faithful servants who will advance the kingdom of God, giving all glory to God. They will not take God’s gold or his glory for themselves.

These men and women serve as conduits for God’s kingdom finances. Conduits for God’s finances are channels to convey his blessings to others. Kingdom finances move by the Spirit. The conduit determines neither where the finances come from nor where they go. It is the Spirit that reveals both the source and destination of the finances. Therefore, the person serving as a conduit must be led by the Spirit in accessing and distributing the finances.

The kingdom is built on joints in the body of Christ, which reflect strong personal relationships. “For because of Him the whole body (the church, in all its various parts), closely joined and firmly knit together by the joints and ligaments with which it is supplied, when each part [with power adapted to its need] is working properly [in all its functions], grows to full maturity, building itself up in love” (Ephesians 4:16 AMP). Joints are important concepts in the kingdom, because true spiritual growth can only occur at the joints. Kingdom finances flow along paths of personal relationships, strengthening the joints.

The New Testament describes a time of abundance in which all believers had their needs met. “For there was not a needy person among them, for all who were owners of land or houses would sell them and bring the proceeds of the sales and lay them at the apostles’ feet, and they would be distributed to each as any had need” (Acts 4:34-35). The apostles served as conduits for finances in the kingdom. The abundance among believers was not attributed to a great amount of wealth but to the proper distribution of wealth. As kingdom finances are used properly, the time of abundance will be restored to the body of Christ.

The apostle Paul wrote extensively about only one offering (2 Corinthians 9). The offering was designated for the saints in Jerusalem rather than for his own ministry. Paul served as a conduit for kingdom finances. These finances would be distributed so as to fully meet the needs of the saints. “For the ministry of this service is not only fully supplying the needs of the saints, but is also overflowing through many thanksgivings to God” (2 Corinthians 9:12). This example is a standard for the effective administration of offerings today. First, the contributors are led by the Spirit and are blessed with an abundant harvest. They contributed to the offering as they purposed in their heart. Second, the finances are used for the purposes identified by the Spirit of God. Third, the finances are effectively distributed so that the needs of the saints are fully met. It’s time for major changes in how finances are gathered and distributed in the kingdom of God.
